Help getting where you want to be
About this care
Mobility support offers practical help with moving around at home and going out. You might need assistance getting out of a chair, moving between rooms or walking to your garden. We’ll agree on support that suits your needs and gives you time to move comfortably.
We’ll learn how you usually get around, including any walking aids or equipment you use. Your care plan will explain the assistance you need and how carers should provide it, following any guidance from the professionals involved in your care.
What we can help with
We’ll assess your mobility needs and agree on suitable support, which may include:
Getting in and out of a chair or bed.
Moving between rooms around your home.
Using agreed walking aids and equipment.
Getting to the bathroom and dining table.
Spending time in your garden.
Joining you on walks and local outings.

How it works
Getting started begins with a conversation. We’ll listen to what matters to you, explore your options and make a plan together.
I love a bit of fresh air, but getting outside isn’t as easy now. With my carer’s help, I can spend time in the garden without feeling rushed along the way.
