Personal care
The help you need to start your day
About this care
Personal care offers help with washing, dressing, grooming and the routines that keep you comfortable each day. Whether you need assistance in the morning or support at night, we’ll agree on what works for you.
Accepting help with personal tasks can take time. Your carers will respect your privacy, learn your preferences and follow your lead, giving you space to do what you can yourself.
What we can help with
We’ll talk through your daily routine and agree on the support you’d find helpful, which may include:
Washing, bathing and showering.
Getting dressed and choosing clothes.
Hair care, shaving and daily grooming.
Toileting and continence routines.
Oral hygiene and denture care.
Getting ready in the morning or settled for the night.

Care in everyday life
Care that follows your daily rhythm
From getting ready to settling in, we’ll fit your care around the rhythm of your day.
A comfortable start
Help with washing, dressing and your morning routine.
Support through the day
Help with toileting, grooming and staying comfortable.
Time to settle in
Help getting changed and comfortable for the night.
How it works
Getting started begins with a conversation. We’ll listen to what matters to you, explore your options and make a plan together.
I like to choose my clothes and do my hair myself. My carer helps with the bits I find tricky, so I can get ready without feeling everything’s been done for me.
